Floored!
For the first time in Ellie history, she is out of CICU just 1 day after surgery! To our surprise, they moved her to the floor yesterday evening. One of 3 chest tubes came out this afternoon and she went for her first walk (only about 10 ft but that was all she could handle). I'm allowing myself to hope that she might actually get to go home days and not weeks after surgery. Fingers crossed!
